"It still comes down to people interacting to create a better world"

A quarter of a century ago, PXS was founded! We never could have come this far without our team, loyal partners and friends. This year, we’ll ask them how they experienced the past 25 years of telecom. Here’s the story of Jasper Maarschalkerweerd, our Manager of Customer Success.

What is a significant number for you, and why?

For me it's the number 64. It's the house number of our home. When I think about 64, I think of my family: my wife, my kids and me. It also makes me think of a chessboard and therefore my father. Happy thoughts. Besides that, Commodore 64: childhood, friends, playing.

Looking back, what memorable moment of working with PXS stands out?

Wow, so many special moments! From being able to work with people from all over the world, to being part of a team that truly embodies the spirit of cooperation and achieving things together. That's special!

In your view, what hasn’t changed at all in telecom over the past 25 years?

People.

What are your expectations of the future of telecom?

Hopefully people recognizing that telecoms and all of its developments are important, but that it still comes down to people interacting to create a better world.

What’s your favorite telecom related photo from the past 25 years? 

It's me right at the beginning of my career at PXS, not knowing what a wonderful ride it turned out to be. :-)
